Pin Test

Chair Mats are used to protect carpet from getting damaged by office chairs. But not all chair mats are the same. 

It is important to choose the correct chair mat for your carpet to prevent cracking and ensure longevity.

Below is a quick guide to help you make the right choice:

1. Take the pin/ pin like pointy item and push it into your carpet until you feel it hit the floor under the carpet

2. Grip the pin with your fingers touching the top of the carpet and remove the pin

3. Measure the distance between the end of the pin and your fingers and use this guide to select the right chair mat to match your carpet pile thickness
