Shipping delays, Out of Stocks & Product substitutions

Due to global issues caused by the COVID-19 situation, there are International delays affecting shipments coming into New Zealand, due to limited airfreight capacity and more recently, sea freight.

The recent sea freight delays have been caused by port congestion, insufficient vessel capacity and limited availability of equipment.

This is an industry wide issue and is significantly affecting most importers and wholesalers. We have been advised that this is expected to continue for some time.

 

What does this mean for you?

When you place an order some of products may be out of stock or have long lead times.  Where possible we have sourced or stock another similar alternative product.

On high volume paper this will be an automatic substitution and there will be a general notification on your invoice or packing slip.

On more specialised items you may be advised by our customer service of the change or given alternative choices.

We are working extremely hard to mitigate these problems for you but in some cases, they are beyond our control.
